Taking a long, load sigh, Milly sat down near the front entrance of the school and dropped her backpack on the ground next to her. All her clases seemed to be extremely long and dragge dout today. It was like...class this...homework that. She was getting sick of all teachers with their "No sleeping in class, Miss Micheal-Vincent!" I mean come on! What's wrong with sleeping in class anyways? They're all so boreing and there's never anything to do becides what you're actually supposed to do. Could school be any lamer? Just yesterday she got her mp3 player taken away by a teacher because for some they're aganist the rules. Teachers were so out to get her. They just wanted to take away all the fun in life so the students would shrivel away into nothing.
Sighing once more, Milly put her long, rugid hair into a pony-tail and pulled out a flyer for a band that was in her pocket. They were supposed to be great and best of all, they were playing this weekend. She couldn't wait for it. Music was life. Maybe she could bring Annie or someone with her. "I'm sure she'd like to go," Milly thought to herself. Annie was always the one to ask when it came to music. Being interested in all the same things made them totally best friends.
Milly's attention slipped up to the sky when she felt a drop of rain hit her cheek. Great. There were dark clouds everywhere and it was getting dark. Why did it always have to rain at the worst times? Irony so sucked. As she thought, the rain came down harder and harder. A crash of lightning could be heard not to far off in the distance. She usually loved the rain, but no today. Today it was just a big in-convienance.
She slowly stood up and rolled up the bottom of her faded jeans so they wouldn't get wet. Today she happened to be wearing her big, black combat boots. That was about the only luck she had today. She almost wore her high-top converse. That would've sucked so horribly. She picked up her pack pack and swung it over one shoulder. This would be a long walk back.
